Roch Voisine received congratulations from Shania
Twain to his show Americana, presented in Montreux.
The two quickly became accomplices.

In full tour in Switzerland for his show country Americana Roch Voisine has won a fan.

The star Shania Twain, amazed by his performance, has even called him after seeing him show. A very nice surprise for the singer of New Brunswick.

The press officer of the songwriter, Nariman Doumandji tells the story of a beautiful encounter.

"Roch Voisine and Shania Twain had never met. They knew of course by their successes. But last Tuesday, the country superstar Shania Twain sat in the 4th row for the show presented in Montreux Americana."

She went to visit Roch Voisine in his dressing room after the show and took time to talk with the musicians and the whole team for this - show that reveals the country to Europeans, and it works.

DINNER AT SHANIA TWAIN

Roch Voisine was having a super nice surprise the day after the show when he received a call from the spouse of Shania Twain to invite him to dinner at her home in Montreux, on the Riviera.

"It was magic for Rosh" says Narimane Doumandji.

"Roch said she was generous, humble and very friendly. He was lucky enough to meet the talented and very famous Robert Mutt Lange in the studio adjacent to the remains of the star. It was a memorable moment for Roch Voisine as Robert Mutt Lange has produced albums by AC / DC, Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, Michael Bolton, Nickelback and, of course, Shania Twain."

THE TOUR CONTINUES

Roch Voisine departed Montreux sure to be on the right track with this formula show country. It's not every day we receive the blessing of Shania Twain.

The Americana Tour continues this week in Marseilles and Toulouse, and will later in Dijon, Lyon, Bordeaux and Nantes.

Roch Voisine is back in Quebec in 2010 with the same show.

Shania Twain has sold over 65 million albums worldwide and is preparing her next musical composition in the next year. She will also pass in her hometown of Timmins, Ontario to bring the Olympic flame on 1 January.
