Shania Twain to Marry Frederic Thiebaud?

Shania Twain is set to get married!

The singer — who recently finalized her divorce from husband Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange — is planning to tie the knot with her actor beau Frederic Thiebaud — the ex-husband of the woman who broke up her marriage.

“It’s been two long and painful years waiting for her divorce to be finalized — and Frederic has been her knight all the way,” said one insider.

“They plan to marry this summer in her native Canada.”

The source insists that Shania and Frederic weren’t involved before the divorce, but “when their spouses’ affair was exposed, they turned to each for support.

“I can’t tell you how much Frederic was responsible for bringing Shania out of her shell and getting her to start enjoying the world again.

“Now that she’s finally free, she knows Frederic is the man she wants to spend the rest of her life. He is the kind of man she should have been with all along.”

Shania has previously admitted she wanted to “go away and disappear” when her marriage ended.

“I feel like in a way I’m starting over, with everything.. I was in a very deep, dark slump, and I needed to find a way to get myself out of it. I had to force myself back out into life, back out into experiencing things,” she said.

“There were moments when I really just thought, ‘I don’t need anything and I don’t need anyone. I just want to go away and disappear.’ So, that was a bad slump.”
