Lionel Richie Wants Taylor Swift on Duets CD

Last month we reported that Lionel Richie was working on a country duets album with artists like Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Little Big Town and others singing with Lionel on some of his biggest hits. Now there are reports that Lionel is trying to persuade Taylor Swift to sing with him on the project. According to the New York Post’s Page Six, if he can get her on the album, they would sing his song “Angel,” which was a hit for Lionel overseas in 2003. It’s promising that Taylor may come on board because her producer, Nathan Chapman, is already part of the project, having produced Lionel and Shania Twain singing “Endless Love,” for the CD called Tuskegee, which will be released this Summer.
